As players venture through the world of Sanctuary that sets the stage for Diablo 4, they'll come face to face with many challenges to overcome. Many of these challenges come in the form of dungeons that are littered throughout the world and offer players tons of unique and powerful loot to claim.

If you're curious to know how many dungeons will be present in Diablo 4 so you can prepare yourself, then this guide has you covered. Below you can find a breakdown of all the dungeons present in Diablo 4, divided into each region where they can be found, so without further delay, let's jump right in.

All Diablo 4 Dungeons Per Region Listed

The world of Sanctuary contains roughly 120 dungeons spread across the five main regions of the game. This information was obtained during our experience with the Diablo 4 beta via the Codex of Power. The Codex of Power contains comprehensive details about the abilities and rewards available for each class, along with the sources from which they can be obtained in dungeons.

With that being said, if any changes are made to the dungeons once the game releases in June, we will be sure to update this listing accordingly to reflect the current state of the dungeons in Diablo 4. Furthermore, it's important to mention that dungeons in Diablo 4 utilize a tile-based system and exhibit a certain degree of randomness. While each dungeon possesses its distinct theme and aesthetic, every playthrough of the same dungeon will feel slightly different due to the randomized layouts. Similarly, each region in the game showcases its exclusive style and design for dungeons.

Finally, in Diablo 4, players have the option to transform regular dungeons into Nightmare Dungeons. These Nightmare Dungeons present tougher challenges compared to their regular counterparts and feature additional objectives and modifiers known as Afflictions. To access Nightmare Dungeons, players must discover Nightmare Sigils, each associated with a particular dungeon location.

So to balance out the heightened difficulty, Nightmare dungeons offer better quality loot as rewards upon completion. This makes Nightmare Dungeons highly rewarding activities for those seeking to experiment with their character builds but also gives you good reason to push through all of these challenging and varied dungeons in Diablo 4.
